Yellow for Resort Season and the New Year
Happy New Year 2022! Hope it’s off to a great start for you – and will only get better from here on out for all of us!
I’m starting the year with fun and exciting colors – filling the upcoming Winter months with hope and joy. For today’s look, I picked my favorite color “yellow” and styled it for a fresh ensemble, perfect for resort/vacation time, and the upcoming Spring.
Here are the exact ingredients to this outfit formula, and how I styled it:
- Short Sleeve Fit-and-Flare Dress. I’ve styled a few Rhode Dresses in my previous posts – and always love the way they fit, and make me feel feminine, flirty and fun. The full skirt makes for great twirling and its a very flattering silhouette – combined with a great waist-defining belt. This Claudine Wrap Dress has the most beautiful shade of yellow – and a great fit. I found it on sale – as well as a few similar ones, check them out below!
- Knee-High Western Boots. This pair of Jeffrey Campbell Knee-High Western Boots is the most comfortable pair I’ve ever had! they have a great length & width – comfortable enough to tuck your jeans into or wear with a skirt/dress; and their color is so pretty – nice take on the Western Boot trend that also feels feminine and classy.
- Feminine Bag. This Polene Numero Sept has a truly classic and elegant feel – and it tones down the bright color combo of pink & yellow. I previously styled it with a jeans + tee outfit HERE– so this just goes to show how versatile it can be. More outfits with it coming soon!
- Gold-Leaf Accessory Set. I’m so in love with my Sun & Moon Corset Cuff bracelet and matching Stud Earrings set from Evocateur Style. They are delicate and stunning, and the gold tones really compliment the golden color of the dress and contrast with the pale pink of the boots. I would highly recommend checking out their pieces – they make for amazing statements! You can use code MODNITSA10 to save 10% off yours!
I hope this inspires you to try out a similar outfit, and as always, please feel free to share the outfits you create via Instagram, using hashtag #ModnitsaOutfit in your posts, and I’ll be sure repost them on my stories!
